Brunton House and Holiday Cottages : Information
Activities around the Estate
There are a number of public footpaths around the estate (although as a working farm we will have livestock at some times of year in various fields to be aware of). There are also farm tracks and walks suggested to you in the information folder.
The quiet roads make this an excellent area to cycle and the National Cycle Route 1 goes through the middle of the estate.
This is possible on the lake below the mill and in the Brunton burn that runs down to the sea (please telephone the Brunton House & Cottages office first (01665 589 120).
Bring your own horse to ride on the many bridle paths and beaches. There is a livery yard on the estate that welcomes visitors. Also stables beside the house and fields nearby.
This is understandably a renowned location with a wide variety of woodland, farmland and coastal birds.
